Phoenix, AZ (June 13, 2008) – SBTV.com CEO Susan Wilson Solovic author of “The Girl’s Guide to Building a Million-Dollar Business” appeared today on 12 News, KPNX-TV, the Phoenix NBC affiliate.  Solovic took a break from the National Association of Women Business Owners national convention to talk about entrepreneurship.

 

“Historically, every time unemployment goes up in the United States, so does the number of people turning to entrepreneurship,” explained Solovic in a live interview on Channel 12 news. “You can imagine, losing a job is the push many people need to make the move into running a small business,” she added.

 

Solovic’s experience has taken her from the newsroom as a television anchor and correspondent, to the boardroom as an executive in a Fortune 100 company, to a successful entrepreneur, and motivational speaker.   The author sits on the board of several influential women’s business organizations and is a regular contributor to broadcast media and print publications on the issues facing small business owners today.  Solovic is also host of internet radio programs “Succeeding in Your Business” and “Power Lunch with Susan”.  Her previous book titles include “Reinvent Your Career: Attain the Success You Deserve and Desire” and “The Girl’s Guide to Power and Success.”
