
St. Louis, MO (March 6, 2009)– SBTV.com-Small Business Television, the Internet’s first television network focused on providing information to the nation’s small businesses, is the winner for the SBA’s Eastern Missouri District Small Business Journalist of the Year Award. As the top media organization in SBA’s Region 7, SBTV.com is one of ten finalists for the national SBA small business journalist award.
SBTV.com is scheduled to be recognized along with other regional winners from the SBA’s Region 7 during activities for ‘Small Business Week’ St. Louis scheduled for May 11-16, 2009. The Eastern Missouri Small Business Week is one of the oldest and largest regional celebrations for small business held across the nation.
The Small Business Journalist of the Year award is presented to a television, radio, electronic, or print medium journalist whose work has contributed to the public understanding of the importance of small business contributions to the economy.
